Sc2ReplayStats - a brief introduction

First post in this blog to show you my first early BETA release of a new android app: Sc2ReplayStats 


Before starting, it is useful to stress you the fact that for best statistics you need to have stored almost all your replays. Since for this project has been used sc2gears to gather information from replay i must tell you that this is a needed software for having Sc2ReplayStats working.

Once downloaded sc2gears and configured, in such a way that you can view all your replays in the ReplaySources tab, you need to download a plugin, available at this link mediafire. Once downloaded, open the zip file and copy the folder inside the folder:

What\ever\path\to\sc2gears\plugin\

Done that, close and restart sc2gears. Now:

1) Check if the plugin is installed correctly and enable. If not enable it. If everything went good, you will see a green thick on the right side of the plugin name!

2) Go on the Replay Sources and select all your replays, as shown in the next figure, click on the right mouse button and click on Send Team Statistics @ Mobile Device.

3) After a little of internal work, you will see a Dialog Box showing you that the replays have been analyzed and the server is running. Leave your keyboard now and take your smartphone.

If you did not have executed yet Sc2ReplayStats, a pop-up window will appear. Simply press YES and on the next screen press Sync. But let's view these passages in detail.

Run the app clicking on it ( obvious :D)

On the dialog click yes:

Then click on "sync" to start synching with the server:

As expected before clicking all the steps are red, meaning not started yet!

As a step is executed and completed is shown, as example:

In this example all steps have been completed and the last one, the analysis of the data, is going to be performed. Once completed there will be prompted a list of players, ordered by number of replays in which is present, most probably you will be the first one! An example is shown below:

Once clicked on the player name, we will experience a little wait, to further analyze data, and at the end you will be prompted with the main screen, shown below:
